Back on the ULA Beat

Check out the great ULA "Monday Report" now up at www.literaryrevolution.com by Michael Jackman, which looks at the Frey and Leroy cons. (Though I should add that Mary Gaitskill's larger problem is the size of her heart-- her ability to empathize with people; one reason of course why at stray times she's been a very good writer. As ambitious and hard-nosed as any of them when she's needed to be, of course.)

Good to see Mr. Jackman back in action.

I just read in New York that J.T. Leroy was supposed to dj a party at Sundance in his own honor, but now won't make it. Right in with all the beautiful and trendy people. Will they notice his/her absence? Will it matter?
