Zen Buddhism has become too big an influence on today's writers. They're all laid-back, relaxed, and satisfied. They're so relaxed they're comatose.
Give me writers who aren't satisfied.

If the writers you speak about are satisfied then they have lost their Zen or never had it in the first place.... satisfied and laid back knows not Zen...
Dude, if the King says zen means laid back then that's it. Don't come around here with your expertise and knowledge.
